We'd like to tell you a little bit about us, our dogs, and our photography.
AnimAction Photos is owned and operated by Rob and Denise Babcock, and is currently based in Lake Shore, Minnesota. Our "studio" the great ourdoors,
where we have access to hundred of acres of fields, woods, lakes, and ponds to work with.
Rob & Denise Babcock's love of art, animals, and photography was outheir inspiration in deciding to offer photographic services to other animal enthusiasts. Their specialty is photographing the canine athlete, as well as offering portraits and custom photography services for all types of animals.
Denise comes from literally a lifetime in graphic design, growing up while working in her parents' family screen printing & design business. She has done T-shirt and embroidery design and layout. She was voted most artistic (and most unique... hmmmm) in her high school class of about 400. Her college days were spent at The College of St. Benedict / St. John's University, where she majored in Management with a minor in French, while taking as many Fine Arts Courses as her schedule would allow for. Rob has a degree in Industrial Studies with an emphasis in Visual Communciations and a minor in Graphic Design. Rob worked for 18 years in the printing industry (managing a graphics art dept.) before he and Denise decided to move to Mtn. Iron, MN, where they purchased a boarding kennel and liteally "went to the dogs!"
The Babcocks train, compete with, and breed Labrador and Golden Retrievers, as well as a couple of Standard Poodles (just for fun!). If you'd like, you can visit their cyber-kennels at:
